95% of our new business comes from referrals. Not from ads. Not from cold outreach. From dealers who've worked with us and trust us enough to put their name behind it. Here's what they say.
These are unsolicited messages — texts, emails, and video reviews sent directly by the people running the stores. We don't have to ask for them. They write them because the experience is worth talking about.
We opened last December and had to build everything from scratch. We had to get phone service hooked up, try and make sense of the existing network hardware and organization — it was a lot. We did not purchase a functioning dealership. There were literally 2 employees left.
We originally were going to use a friend of my partner for our IT support, and while his company was sizable and competent for general IT, they did not have any dealership experience whatsoever. We had a ton of questions and were being forced to Google the answers.
John had worked with another dealership we had known and I reached out to him just to pick his brain. He was not pushy, and was willing to help with whatever he could even before discussing any business — offering up contacts he has locally, etc. We decided to hire his company and they have just been great. They have a knowledgeable support staff, but I have also developed a relationship with both John and one of his higher project managers.
The best thing is that the couple of times we have had emergencies, or if I needed an answer right away, they pick up the phone and help. No questions asked. During dinner, doesn't matter. They call often just to check in, if they meet someone who might be a good connection for us, just to network, or find a new product at a conference — anything. We have the support of the company, but it feels like I have an old friend who knows everything and everyone and is always willing to help.
After going with other providers and experiencing the same troubling results, we finally hired VTech in January 2024. VTech did a complete analysis and rebuilt our tower, which is now a thing of beauty after being a hot mess of wires. What was a daily headache for me became a non-issue. John and his team are professional, thorough, talented, and kind.
We now have transitioned to monthly calls where we discuss upcoming projects, lifecycle of all equipment currently in use, and any issues that might need to be addressed.
On a personal note, John is an individual I have great respect and admiration for. When he was here for the initial kick-off of the project, my father suddenly passed away. John not only handled that entire transition without my involvement — he and Damian Boudreaux came to my father's funeral. To say I was touched does not fairly describe how much that meant to me.
My father always used to tell me, "you come from good stock kid." My experience and endorsement is — John Acosta comes from Good Stock.
Two different dealership operations. The same experience. Watch what dealers say when no one is writing the script.
Read through every testimonial and the same words keep showing up. That's not a coincidence. It's the result of a company built around one thing — dealers.
Not a vendor who learns what a DMS is after you sign the contract. A team that's been in your world since 2011, answers the phone during dinner, and shows up when it matters most.
